4/19/2025 – With the growing season right around the corner, our incredible volunteers spent the whole day getting hands-on at Asawana Farms — learning how to set up a drip irrigation system to help our crops thrive!
It wasn’t just plug-and-play — this crew took on the challenge of connecting the system across buckets, crate farms, and grow beds, problem-solving every step of the way. From learning the basics of water flow to making sure each plant gets just the right amount of hydration, they tackled it all with patience, teamwork, and a can-do spirit.
This system will go a long way in conserving water and supporting healthy plant growth through the season. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, learned something new, and left the farm a little better than they found it. Your dedication is what keeps this place growing — in more ways than one.
